KS4 results

The Class of 2026 has shown tremendous resilience, determination and commitment throughout Key Stage 4, and today we are delighted to celebrate their achievements and individual progress.

There were some particularly impressive performances across the curriculum. In Physics, 96% of students achieved grade 5 or above, with an average grade of 7, while in Spanish, 92% achieved grade 5 or above, with an average grade of 6.

Drama students also achieved excellent results, with 76% gaining grade 5 or above and an  exceptional 24% achieving grade 9. In Further Maths, 17% of students achieved the highest grade 9.

There was much to celebrate in terms of progress too. 95% of Textiles students met or exceeded their target grades, while more than 67% of students with SEND surpassed their target grades across their GCSEs.

The College is also pleased to see a much smaller gender gap than that seen nationally, with girls notably outperforming boys at grade 4+ inMaths.

Principal Emma Reynolds said:

"We are incredibly proud of our Year 11 students. These results reflect their hard work, determination and progress, as well as the tremendous support they have received from their families and our teaching and support staff.

"We wish every student the very best as they take their next steps and look forward to welcoming  many of them back to Frome College Sixth Form in September."

The majority of the Class of 2026 will now continue their studies at Frome College Sixth Form, while others move on to colleges, apprenticeships and new opportunities.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026!
